Beyond Tenure

2011-12

Beyond Tenure is a three-part program focused on the advancement of women who are Associate Professors and Professors in STEM fields at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. The sessions are aimed at examining various career options, defining possible new directions, furnishing women with tools to enhance their professional reputations, and developing leadership capacities. In addition to honing practical skills, the sessions will facilitate development of cross-disciplinary peer networks, opening doors for future collaborative opportunities. Presenters and panelists for the program are drawn from a pool of Northwestern and University of Chicago faculty in science and engineering, communications, and management.
