This session introduces strategies for directing research and people in the laboratory. The use of project planning and effective time management in the day-to-day operation of an early scientist’s lab will be described. Participants will learn how to achieve an operational, productive, and loyal workgroup. Strategies for optimizing the professional development of individuals in and out of your laboratory will also be discussed.
